Suggested PC Specifications and Suitable Motherboards from GeoVision Technical Support Team
For Current V2 boards, we suggest to use P4 level with DDR or RAMBUS memory for a better performance, and we strongly suggest to use Intel series chipsets for your motherboard because the V2 card is not compatible with VIA series chipset motherboards. Below, we have listed all the tested motherboards in our lab and they are suggested models for GV-Series Systems.

Basically the most popular chipsets on the marketplace now are Intel 815,845 and 850 series, and all of them are compatible with GV-Series GV600V2/800V2 cards. As a result, no matter which one you have chosen, they shouldn't have any incompatiblility problems.
The only difference between those chipsets is the DRAM they're working with. With different DRAM, the performance will be totally different from each other (SDRAM, DDR RAM, RAMBUS RAM). Therefore, you may choose the one which meets your needs.
